Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performance database systems.
- Create and maintain ETL workflows using Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
- Develop and optimize complex stored procedures, functions, triggers, and views.
- Develop and manage reports and dashboards using Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
- Perform database modeling, schema design, normalization, and optimization.
- Troubleshoot and improve database performance through indexing, query tuning, and partitioning.
- Work closely with developers, architects, and project managers to understand data requirements.
- Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with organizational standards.
- Manage database backups, recovery strategies, and performance monitoring.
- Build and support ETL pipelines and data integration processes.
- Handle large amounts of data efficiently, consistently, andin an optimized way
- Stay updated with emerging database technologies, automation tools, and best practices.
Skill Set:
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience as a Database Developer or Database Engineer.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills are essential.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL development.
- Experience with SSIS (Integration Services) and SSRS (Reporting Services).
- Expertise in writing and optimizing stored procedures, triggers, functions, and queries.
- Solid understanding of database design principles, normalization, and data modeling.
- Experience with performance tuning, indexing strategies, and query optimization.
- Working knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases (MSSQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Experience with ETL development and data pipeline management.
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git, GitHub, or GitLab).
- Good understanding of database security, encryption, and backup/recovery processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with cloud database services (AWS RDS/Redshift/Azure SQL/GCP Cloud SQL/Big Query)
