Innovature Marks Two Decades of Building Differently

The Quiet Ambition That Started It All

Every major journey starts with a foundational insight. For Innovature, that insight was forged on the other side of the world, in the high-tech landscape of Japan. Our co-founders, Ravindranath A V,  Tiby K., and Gijo Sivan, often recall their early professional experiences in Tokyo. It was a time of intense learning, not just about technology, but about the true meaning of precision, process, and unwavering quality.

They learned that exceptional delivery wasn’t an accident—it was a system. This glimpse into a level of technical and operational excellence served as a powerful spark. It made them ask the critical questions that would define our existence: How can we build a technology company that matches this level of precision? What would it take to create solutions that don’t just work, but truly transform?

In 2005, Innovature was launched as the answer to those questions. It was born not just as a business, but as a deliberate ambition: to innovate the Future. The original team was small—a tight-knit group of friends and trusted colleagues, such as Sreekumar and Tisho—but the vision was enormous.

From a Rented Room to a Center of Excellence

The earliest days were characterized by grit and relentless effort. Our first “office” was a modest rented house, just large enough to fit five people and their systems. Every single aspect of the company was a hands-on learning experience for the founders and early employees. From designing the logo and writing website content to handling finances and delivering code, we were all, effectively, pioneers.

This necessity bred a crucial Innovature culture: one of total ownership, agility, and a shared drive to deliver solutions that exceeded expectations. There was no playbook, only a fierce commitment to constant improvement.

This dedication quickly yielded results. In 2006, we onboarded our first client—a Japanese account with which we are exceptionally proud to still partner today. This initial success validated our approach and cemented the core values of quality and long-term partnership that still guide us.

As the team grew, so did our ambitions. The following years were marked by consistent expansion and adaptation:

  • 2010: We moved into the world of PDAs and cloud-based systems, quietly expanding our technical footprint.
  • 2012: We established our dedicated QA team and secured our first major iOS mobile app development project.
  • 2014: Anticipating the future of data, we began pioneering work in Big Data applications, steadily adding new capabilities and growing our client base across Asia.

The Evolution of Our Services: Adapting to Change

Growth for Innovature has never been a linear, predictable path. It has been a constant, dynamic process of agility and adaptation. Our early work in Japan taught us the value of precision, but our expansion across different geographies—including critical European and North American markets—taught us the equal importance of cultural agility. Every new engagement was a test of our ability to listen, understand different expectations, and deliver tailored solutions.

This commitment to staying ahead of the curve is evident in our later milestones:

  • 2016: We moved into a larger, dedicated production facility to accommodate our growing client base.
  • 2018: We successfully delivered our first complex AR/VR project, proving our ability to master emerging technologies. This transition was finalized when we moved into our current office at TransAsia—a purpose-built Centre of Excellence designed to comfortably seat over 500 engineers. The shift from a small rented room to this sprawling hub perfectly symbolizes our 20-year trajectory.

And then came 2020. Like every company across the globe, we faced an unprecedented need to improvise. Our robust operational procedures allowed us to transition our workflow to remote overnight. This global crisis tested our resilience, but ultimately strengthened our delivery models and solidified our commitment to flexible, high-quality execution, no matter the location.

The Innovature Today and the Next Chapter

As we officially mark our 20th Anniversary in October 2025, Innovature stands as a 300+ strong team with a global delivery hub. We serve clients across diverse industries—from healthcare and retail to finance and manufacturing—with specialized Centres of Excellence in QA, AI/ML, AR/VR, and accessibility.

While technology is the fabric of our work, we have always believed that people are the true drivers of our success. Our two-decade journey is a collective achievement, powered by:

  1. Our Team: The talent, dedication, and adaptability of every Innovature engineer, manager, and support staff.
  2. Our Partners: The trusted relationships that have allowed us to scale and deliver globally.
  3. Our Clients: The forward-thinking companies that have entrusted us with their most critical projects and pushed us to keep improving.

Looking ahead, the next 20 years will be about scaling smarter. We are deeply invested in blending human expertise with AI-driven innovation to create solutions that don’t just address current needs but proactively solve future challenges. Our core mission remains focused on integrating seamless automation into existing workflows to help businesses achieve greater efficiency and transformation.

From 3 to 300, from a quiet ambition to a global delivery hub—this is the incredible story of Innovature so far. We are profoundly grateful for the journey, and we are just getting started.
